WATSONTOWN DEPLOYS TRUCK NAVIGATION AMONG ITS FLEET

Connected Commercial Navigation – The Key to Savings & Improved Driver Safety

Burlington, MA - August 7, 2008 - Maptuit Corporation, a leader in two–way connected, real–time commercial navigation, Locations Based Services and Real–time traffic information and Vehicle Tracking solutions, today announced Watsontown Trucking has deployed Maptuit NaviGo on across their fleet's entire DT400 Truck PC from DriverTech.

Maptuit NaviGo is a two–way connected, real–time, commercial navigation solution that can deliver directions via satellite, cellular or wi–fi communication modes, with the unique ability to calculate all requested routes on Maptuit’s server farm. This hybrid approach allows for each route requested to be the most up–to–date route sent to the unit and received by the driver. NaviGo has the most accurate and up–to–date, truck specific directions and navigation steps for commercial vehicles and can be integrated into the dispatch system, allowing dispatchers to better manage and communicate with drivers.

“Watsontown adopted DriverTech’s Technology and is now providing Maptuit’s connected truck specific turn–by–turn with spoken, real–time directions to the driver though NaviGo”, stated Chad Mensch, Director of Operations, Watsontown. “We subscribe to NaviGo not only because of its ability to keep driver’s on safe roads which is very important to us but also because we know that during the down cycles of our economy, navigation helps to save on fuel, time and wear and tear of our vehicles NaviGo is a critical component in any Watsontown in–cab solution.”

“We are excited to have Watsontown Trucking, as a customer of Maptuit, Their deployment of Maptuit NaviGo will provide its drivers with the industry’s most efficient routing solution” Said Jeff Papows, President and CEO of Maptuit. “Watsontown can now begin to eliminate the superfluous Out–of–Route miles and begin to save on expenses such as fuel, while increasing driver safety. We are thrilled to have all the Watsontown drivers join our expanding community of drivers.”
