Maptuit Appoints MapQuest Executive as New SVP of Sales, Channel and Business Development
Industry Readies As Former MapQuest Executive Joins Maptuit
Burlington, MA January 30, 2006 - Maptuit, the leading provider of truck specific routing and directions, location based services (LBS) and digital mapping in North America, today announced the appointment of Douglas K Frank as its new Senior Vice President of Sales. In this role, Frank will lead and oversee Maptuit’s sales team that will drive the company's growth.
Frank spent several years with MapQuest as the vice president of National Business to Business Sales where he provided leadership and managed North America’s sales teams, provided solutions for web sites, CRM, ERP, e-Business, e-Commerce, Supply Chain and Logistics. He comes to Maptuit with deep knowledge and understanding of the Geospatial market and with many years of sales and management experience, he provided while in his various senior leadership positions as a partner and co-founder of CompuTravel and TNT Vacations.

Frank holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Wisconsin; He will be based at Maptuit’s Head Quarters in Burlington, Massachusetts and will report to Jeff Papows, President of Maptuit.
