Dependable, Powerful Reporting Capabilities Seals the Deal

Maptuit® Corporation, a provider of transportation optimization solutions for the trucking industry, today announced that Little Rock, Ark.-based Continental Express has installed FleetNav Directions™, a real-time directions and route optimization solution and FleetNav Alert™, a powerful reporting tool used to determine a fleet's performance, to its fleet of 600 vehicles.
A coast-to-coast truckload, truck/rail and logistics transportation company, Continental Express integrated Maptuit software with its QUALCOMM OmniTRACS® system and ICC dispatch software package.

Using the FleetNav Alert product, Continental has created what it is calling the "Behind Schedule Map". Before installing this highly advanced reporting system, fleet managers would have to view each vehicle individually in order to get a status report on its location and schedule. With FleetNav Alert's breakdown reporting capabilities a fleet manager can view a single map indicating all vehicles that are behind schedule. By adding this reporting capability to their morning routine, Continental's fleet managers can take immediate corrective action on all potentially late shipments at the start of the day.
In addition, FleetNav Alert gives Continental the ability to view the entire tracking history of a vehicle. In the past, fleet managers could inquire with a driver as to his or her tardiness or reasons for traveling out of route but could never corroborate a driver's explanation without going through each ICC screen individually. Even though they could view the vehicle position reports there was no capability to see the entire history of the vehicle on one screen. FleetNav Alert gives them the ability to quickly and easily view the history in one simple report.
