750 Trucks to be Equipped

Maptuit Corporation, a provider of transportation optimization solutions for the trucking industry, today announced Canada's Highland Transport has selected the newly released FleetNav Suite to support their fleet operations for 750 trucks. Maptuit's FleetNav Suite includes FleetNav Directions, an optimizing routing tool; FleetNav Fuel, a real-time fuel pricing module; and FleetNav Alert, a powerful monitoring and reporting tool for the transportation industry.

Using Maptuit's FleetNav Suite with their Cancom mobile communication solution, Highland drivers will receive the most efficient truck-to-door directions integrated with their fueling instructions in either French or English text messages. Highland will be able to use the FleetNav Suite to gain visibility into their fleet's activities in real-time to determine where their fleet is, if their driver is taking the least-cost route, if their drivers will be arriving at their customers on time, and if drivers need their help. They will also be able to determine their best performers by driver manager and by driver, as well as trends on critical business metrics to measure the success of their fleet operations.
